Roll crushers

Designed for the crushing of mineral raw materials with compressive strength of up to 250 MPa for their preparation for analytic research or as part of semi-industrial installations (for example, for the crushing of synthetic abrasive materials).

Characteristics:

The DG series  roll  crushers are designed for crushing the brittle and  medium hard materials. These crushers allow the discharge aperture to close up to complete engagement.

Roll crusher design:

The roll crusher  is a housing with the  guides installed on it. The bearing units where the shafts with the rolls secured are installed  move by guides.  . One of the rolls is  pressed by the spring units that prevent the crusher from  breakage in case of uncrushable objects ingress. The spring compressive force provides for the required crushing force. The position of the second roll is provided by the jaw adjustment units.

The crushing area is covered by the dust-protection casing  with the feed hopper therein. The housing encloses the motors arranged on the  junction platforms. The motors can be accessed through the hatched windows in the sides walls  of the housing. The motors are controlled by  magnetic starter arranged inside the housing and by  buttons on the side wall of the housing.

Operating principle:

The feed material is loaded into  the hopper and  flows to the crushing area where it is broken between the rotating rolls. The crushed product flows from the crusher by gravity through the  inlet chute of the housing.
