Purpose:
The laboratory filter 59 FT is designed for filtering suspensions with density of up to 5 grams per cm3 by pressing through a filter cloth in laboratory conditions in periodical mode. The required pressure in the filter vial is created by supplying compressed air from an external source.
Features:
-
vial volume increased to 20 litres;
-
stainless steel design;
-
high fraction separability;
-
convenient cake removal.
Design and operating principle:
The filter is a vial bedded on a perforated base covered with filter cloth and closed with a lid. The bottom is mounted on a frame. A special clamp, installed on a hinged system consisting of two supports and a beam, fixates the lid tightly. The pulp is loaded through a ball valve on the lid. Air supply system consists of a pressure relief valve equipped with a manometer to control the pressure of supplied air, a T-valve for vail pressure relief, and a flexible compressed air inlet. The body of the filter has a filtrate outlet in the bottom. After forcing the suspension through the filter cloth, a solid phase – cake – remains on its surface, and a liquid phase is removed from the vail.
Adjusting:
Required pressure of the compressed air may be adjusted depending on the suspension properties.
Examples of materials:
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals ore concentrates, mining and chemical raw material ore concentrates, coal sludge, and chemical industry suspensions.
Delivery set: filter assy; compressor; data sheet; operation manual.
