The rotatory sample splitters (DPR and DPTs series) provide for sample splitting ratio from 1/2 to 1/12.

In the DRP models, the separation is made as follows:
The rotor with the installed receiving tanks evenly rotates at low speed. The sample flows to the hopper with the help of the feeder. As the rotor speed is constant, each tank has equal amount of material that makes 1/8 of the original sample.
In the DPTs model, the distribution tray rotates but not the receiving tanks do.
The sample flows to the hopper with the help of the feeder. As the distributor speed is constant, the equal amount of material that makes 1/8 (1/12 for DPTs-100A) of the original sample flows into each tank.
For even material supply to the rotatory splitters, the PE 1 (294PT) vibrating feeder is recommended.
