Disc pulverizers

The disk pulverizers  are designed for dry fine grinding of brittle materials of various hardness in continuous or periodical mode.

REC "Mekhanobr-Tekhnika" manufactures and supplies the pulverizers with disc diameters of 65, 175 and 250 mm.

Operating principle:

The feed material is supplied via the feed hopper and flows via the central opening of the fixed disc into the pulverizing area where it is ground by contacting with the discs and thrown to the periphery. When the material is less than the aperture between the discs, it falls into the product collecting box.

M and MS - equipped with a block of protection against ingress of non-shatterable material, and also have a V-belt feed.

MS-has a more convenient access to the crushing chamber for cleaning

Since 2008,  REC Mekhanobr Tekhnika  has been producing the upgraded pulverizers  ID-175М and ID-250М.

• Protection from uncrushable objects ingress;
• If an uncrushable object enters the crushing zone, an axial force appears, which moves the discs aside and compresses the spring in the rotor's back bearing block. This allows the uncrushable objects entering the discharge area and prevents the pulverizer from spawling.
• Simplified access to the discs for cleaning;
• Accurate adjustment of parallel alignment of immovable and mobile discs.
