The MD hammer crushers are primarily designed for grinding brittle and low-abrasive materials, as well as various fibrous materials, industrial and domestic waste, agricultural raw materials and similar materials; for crushing medical waste during the preparation for subsequent processing; for destroying counterfeit goods.
The hammer crushers belong to high-speed rotor crushers that is why they are sometimes called as the high-speed impact disintegrators.
They are characterized by high splitting of the crushed material. The MD series hammer crushers are better to be used for crushing relatively brittle materials. During crushing of some kinds of elastic materials, for example, rubber, the crushed material gets the pseudo-brittleness properties (impact brittleness) in the process of very quick contact with the crushing hammer, as a result, it gets broken efficiently.
The hammer crushers are not to be used for disintegration of viscous, clayey materials due to quick clogging of the space between the hammers.
