The School of Young Scientists that was held during September 18-19, 2017, at REC Mekhanobr Tekhnika came to close. The summarizing lectures that included, among others, own scientific results and attainments were delivered by eleven outstanding scientists who had been early applied in the School program.
Over 60 young scientists representing the entire range of the modern complex of science and technology of the country were present - representatives of universities and academic institutes, employees of research departments of the large companies, as well as medium and small companies.
First of all, these are the St. Petersburg State University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg Mining, Institute for Problems in Mechanical Engineering of the RAS, and other organizations and companies.
During two days, the meetings of the School were held very actively, with great interest of the audience, with many questions and sometimes being a discussion between the lecturers and attendees.
The School highlighted the modern analytical methods of study and description of various phenomena, computational study methods. Also the issues of practical use of vibration technologies and various production technologies, including in the era of transition to digital economy, were highlighted.
The natural phenomena and disasters, such as earthquakes, seaquakes, etc. which are based on the vibration effect according to the modern scholarly views were also focused on.
The technologies and machines developed by Mekhanobr Tekhnika and widely used in the industry were demonstrated to all the participants of the School.
