On May 29, 2018, the III session of the School of Young Scientists “Modern methodology of research in mechanics and materials science” was held under supervision of Academician Leonid Vaisberg in the frameworks of the RSF project “Vibration processing technologies for various materials in the advanced intelligent productions - theory, modeling, fundamentals of creation of mechatronic complexes for their implementation”.
The graduate students of St. Petersburg universities, young researchers, post graduates and postdocs have got a unique opportunity to listen to the reports of the outstanding scientists and specialists - A.I. Borovkov, the Professor, Pro-rector for Prospective Projects of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University; A.A. Popovich, the Professor, Director of the Institute of Metallurgy, Machine-Building ad Transport of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University; V. Yu. Kukushkin, the Professor, RAS corresponding member, Head of Department of Physical Organic Chemistry of the Institute of Chemistry of the St. Petersburg State University; V.S. Sorokin, the Professor of the Machine Building Faculty of Oakland University, New Zealand.
The lecture topics are directly related to the breakthrough achievements in fundamental and applied sciences on systematic approach to digital technology, big data, additive technology and application of the advanced achievements in chemistry and nonlinear mechanics to solving the tasks of improvement of processing technologies for various materials.
The next session of the School of Young Scientists will be held in autumn 2018.
