On August 7, 2018, at REC Mekhanobr Tekhnika, in the next session of the School of Young Scientists “Modern methodology of research in mechanics and materials science” under supervision of Academician Leonid Vaisberg, the lecture “Vibration mechanics in modulated high-frequency periodical and accidental excitations: scenarios of occurrence of vibration force and stochastic resonance” was delivered by the Doctor of Engineering, Professor Evgeny Borisovich Kremer who lives now in Germany and manages a dynamics team at Luk. E.B. Kremer is the leading specialist in nonlinear dynamics, theory of vibration processes and machines.
The lecture was devoted to the review of new results on development of approach of vibration mechanics and method of direct separation of motions being new methods of research of vibration impact on nonlinear systems: various cases of high-frequency effect on the system leading to significant change in its behavior were systematized, the phenomenon of stochastic resonance was studied - peak nature of change in system response with the change of intensity of accidental impact, etc.
The lecture was met with great interest of the present young scientists, many questions were asked, the interested discussion took place.
