In 2004, REC ‘Mekhanobr-Tekhnika’ supplied separators of its own production to Catoca Ltd., Africa, for extracting finely dispersed diamonds. This supply includes drum electromagnetic separators EBM 90/60 and roll electromagnetic separator 2EVM 36/100.
Catoca Ltd. is the first mining company in the history of Angola that has started the large-scale mining of the Catoca kimberlite pipe, one of the largest diamonds primary deposits - the fourth largest in the world. Our separators allowed to set up the new production and improve the extraction of valuable minerals from diamond-containing raw materials at the mine enrichment plant.
A few days ago, REC ‘Mekhanobr-Tekhnika’ sent to Angola another batch of spare parts, including 4 sets of rolls for roll electromagnetic separators 2EVM 36/100.
The timely equipment service and the replacement of the worn-out parts make it possible for our machines to operate without breakdowns or downtime. REC ‘Mekhanobr-Tekhnika’ has a large spare parts stock in St. Petersburg in order to provide uninterrupted supplies of components to our clients in other cities and even countries.
