REC ‘Mekhanobr-Tekhnika’ has supplied four separators of its own production to a large diamond deposit in Africa.
Cooperation of REC ‘Mekhanobr-Tekhnika’ with Catoca in Angola, Africa, began in 2004, with a supply of two separators EBM 90/60 and 2EVM 36/100. Then, our separators helped to set up new production at a major primary diamond deposit and increased extraction of valuable minerals from diamond-containing raw materials at the mine’s processing factory. Another large dispatch took place in 2023, when four of our electromagnetic roll separators were sent to the African continent.
Last week, we completed another purchase order for Catoca. This time, four separators were dispatched to Angola: two electromagnetic roll separators 2EVM 36/100 and two magnetic drum separators PBM 90/60. All of the separators are designed for wet beneficiation of rare and non-ferrous materials ores with particle fineness ranging from 0.1 mm to 4 mm, separating them into magnetic and non-magnetic components. They are primarily used for diamond-containing, oxidized ferrite and manganese ores beneficiation; finishing of rough concentrates, such as ilmenite, manganese, rare metal ores concentrates, etc. It is crucial that REC ‘Mekhanobr-Tekhnika’ not only produces equipment, but also provides precise deliveries of spare parts and expendable materials for all of the produced and previously supplied machines to ensure maximum efficiency and extended operation without downtime or breakdowns.
